I like dogs and I like walking. My favourite walks are up from Bailey's Garage on Brecon Road, up to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. The Rholben (the hill on the way to Sugarloaf from Chapel Road) is just over a 1 hours walk. It keeps you fit! The walk is through fields and roads, it's a great walk. I also walk along the Usk river from Bailey's Garage, past Nevil hall hospital; this is an hours walk. I can also walk around the block around North Street and Capel Road stopping off at the Cricket ground and Belgrave Park to throw a ball around (dog still on the extension lead).
I do walk elsewhere and have walking routes all around Abergavenny. I have a car so can get anywhere quickly.
I offer Dog Sitting and Pet Day Care in the owners own home. Unfortunately, I can't offer this service at my home. I will consider a price reduction for longer multiple day bookings.
When Dog sitting I charge £25 per day including walks. I enjoy house sitting because I can get on with my educational studies: studying fingerstyle guitar.
I occasionally help friends out fixing their PC’s, as I used to work for Intel streaming TV across the Internet, and am pretty good and figuring out computer problems. I also offer massage therapy. I may still study for a qualification in Sports massage. I like keeping my massage skills fresh because it complements my karate training and may well be a source of income if I do manage to travel the world again.
Finally, I work closely with Rachel who lives close to the Abergavenny train station. We are emergency contacts for each other in case of emergencies. She offers dog Sitting (and walking) at her home. I offer dog sitting (and walking) at the client’s home.
