Charlie is a very calm dog who loves attention and company. He is a rescue dog that we have had for two years now and he has enriched our lives so much.
I now only work three days a week so Charlie and I could do with some company!
Jon, my husband and I love going on big beach walks with Charlie and park walks looking for squirrels letting him run of lead for lots of exercise and to socialise with other dogs.
All dogs are welcome on my couch and even on my bed. Although I try to get them to sleep on their own if I can.
We have a garden outside at the back of the house and Charlie has pretty much killed the grass. It's well fenced off so there is no chance of any dog getting out over the fence or onto a road! We also let him use it for the other type of bathroom activity. Always first thing in the morning. Although sometimes a dog doesn't like going out in winter! We check Charlie's paws when he comes into the house and clean them with baby wipes that have no cleansers etc added to them.
Charlie begs for a treat every morning after his bathroom wake up call and we give him a dentastick or pieces of carrots!
We have decking too and in summertime Charlie and myself are quite the sun worshippers! Our wee kitchen is very sunny and warm in the morning so you will often find Charlie there sunning himself!
Given the size of Charlie and our home, we can only accommodate a small or medium dog. We would also ask that the dog/s are toilet trained. Puddles because a dog is anxious are fine though. Doggies miss their owners and panic in new places sometimes.
