The whole family are nuts about our dogs. We currently have Rosie, a mad Jack Russell and Tadgh a brainless lurcher. We dog sit each week for another Jack Russell and a Labradordoodle and would welcome other dogs to come and stay.
We have owned sheepdogs, various lurchers, greyhounds and deerhounds, labs and terriers, so happy with any dogs.
My wife has always said I prefer dogs to humans, which is harsh but I do love having them around and taking them for walks.
We are flexible on when the dogs can stay, I currently work as a Legal Marketing Manager two days a week and am free for the rest of the week, whilst my wife is home on one of the days I am not.
Our garden is secure and backs onto fields on the edge of the Mendips, so walks are safe and secure away from roads for miles. The fields are also stock free. Dogs will be kept on the leads, or not, subject to your preference.
The dogs would have the roam of the house and garden, especially my 9 year old son's room and bed!
Longer stays and the dogs would also go on walks into local woods via our Volvo estate. My wife works for the National Trust, so walks in Prior Park and the Bath Skyline are also frequent locations. We will treat your dog as one of our own and love it as much as our own mutts.
Dog sitting, walking and overnight. Have also experience of taking dogs that cannot be let off the lead and training them to return.
