I'm an experienced, friendly and reliable dog walker and pet sitter based in Brighton. As a qualified training instructor, I can also help with everyday training. I offer small-scale, personalised services, fitting in with your routine and giving your dog my undivided attention.
My love of dogs began with walking a very energetic Irish setter for a friend. This led to regular dog walking for the RSPCA, Cinnamon Trust and people in my local area.
I then decided to enrol at the Canine Studies College in East Sussex, where I gained valuable knowledge and experience, training dogs of different breeds and even a rescue donkey at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.
As well as working with animals, I've been an English teacher in Japan, an administrator at the Royal Academy of Music and a housing worker in London. This has given me experience of communicating with all kinds of different people and this is something I really enjoy.Dog Walking: I walk single dogs or small groups, which means I can tailor walks to your individual requirements. Happy to be outdoors in all weathers I can provide your dog with plenty of exercise, on or off lead. I'm trained in Dog First Aid and am signed up to the Brighton & Hove City Council Professional Dog Walkers Code of Conduct.
Pet Dog Training: I understand what a challenge it can be to fit regular training into a busy life. I offer one-to-one sessions where I work with you to find an enjoyable and realistic training plan for you and your dog, using gentle, positive, reward-based techniques.
Pet Sitting: I'm available to feed, look after and spend time with your pets at your home, while you're away, giving them all the love and care they need. I make sure they have fresh water, the right food, medication if necessary, exercise, games and plenty of cuddles.
I offer a free meet and greet for all services.
