About Kath

I love dogs (in fact all animals) and have owned dogs, horses, rabbits and hamsters, and walked dogs since I was a child. I offer a friendly family home with 90ft garden, for dogs to board. I love to walk the dogs in the park or on the South Downs, which is accessible from my back gate. It's a well known fact today that exercise is a key ingredient in the health and balance of a dog. So if you are busy, or going on holiday, or don't get chance to give your dogs a really great walk in the open countryside, then I can give your dogs that pleasure of long, fun walks and a home from home. Obedience and affection are two more ingredients to a healthy and balanced dog. I enjoyed training my own dogs so much that I progressed to become an assistant dog trainer. I am familiar with handling different dog breeds whether pedigree or mixed breed (including rescue dogs). I have bred my own dogs. I am dog first aid trained and fully insured. This is my only employment, so your dog is guaranteed my attention and affection the whole time. I only board 1/2 dogs from a single owner at any one time, and I only walk (up to) 4 dogs, so that I can give them my full attention.

Max had a really great time with Kath and her labs. We felt totally at ease leaving him as we knew he was in super capable hands in a relaxed space. The house and garden are ideal for him to explore. The other dogs were so friendly and welcoming too. Kath shared updates about how he was doing during the day. Our 8 month old collie/lab who is full of energy is now sound asleep at home after a fun and engaging day. Thank you!

Kath was great. I felt confident that Baxter would be well looked after and given plenty of exercise and love. He was exhausted and happy when we picked him up. It was also great to receive information and pictures whilst we were away

Thanks for the review Caroline. We really enjoyed having Baxter as part of our family. He is such a cheeky character and enjoyed the attention. Our family will miss giving him cuddles and watching him playing in the garden. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Maggie clearly had a brilliant stay with Kath and her family over the weekend. Kath and her family are lovely and their dogs are very friendly. The garden is brilliant and Kath kept me posted with photos over whatsapp during Maggie's stay. Thanks again!
