About Deborah (debs)
We are a perfect home from home for active dogs, with a 5 acre field at the bottom of our secure garden if we’re not out walking or eating we’re in the field playing.
I’ve always had working gun dogs and many (many) years ago I ran an equine hospital so I have some medical knowledge and experience.
Our daily routine starts with play in the field before breakfast then after food and a short nap we load up and go to local parks (Stowe, Stockgrove, Ouse Valley) for a walk. Then it’s back for lunch and another short nap before going back in to the field for more play and then an afternoon walk across the fields surrounding the village.
I often have dogs in foster care, so there are always four legged friends to play with or snuggle with.
Owners are sent lots (often way too many) updates and images.
Dogs are kept on the long lead until I have complete confidence on their recall. All dogs are cared for and kept safe as if they were my own…..and you should see what I do for my own!
Some dogs have crates which they are fed in with the door closed and nap in with the door open….others eat and crash on the sofa.
Each dog is treated as an individual and understood to have separate needs which we endeavour to meet.
Every dog is groomed everyday, along with having their eyes washed and teeth cleaned.
Our day starts at 5am and ends at 10pm with typically 4 meals, 2 walks averaging a total of 12 miles a day.
