Gordon, dog sitter in Bury St. Edmunds
About Gordon

We have always had dogs about the house and bred Whippets for many years. My Wife and I are now retired and as we go away quite a lot, no longer have a dog of our own. Dog sitting gives us the pleasure of "borrowing" a dog from time to time.
We live in a small village and have a large "dog proof" back gargen where a dog can be safely let out to have free time. I like to walk and a dog for company adds to the pleasure.
Dog sitting in our home. We like to know exactly how your dog lives at home and will do our best to replicate that here even if your dog sleeps on the our bed (hopefully not too big!). We are proficient at medicating if needed.

Our Lottie had a wonderful stay with Gordon & Sheila, she was very contented. They really made a home from home for her and it was clear that they really care for their visitors. We got a lovely message to tell us she was settling in, which is always nice to hear. Thank you so much for looking after her so well.

Alfie was obviously extremely happy and well cared for during his latest stay - as was evident from the lovely photo taken of him 'relaxing' and sent to me while I was away on holiday. Thank you Gordon for such a thoughtful gesture - I loved looking at the photo every day.

Thank you for your kind words. Has he had his little op. yet?

Alfie could not have been in better hands. He was so well cared for, especially considering that he was not well during his stay and was promptly taken to the vet for treatment. Gordon was highly praised by the veterinary practice. I am so thrilled to have found a really loving and caring home for Alfie (who is not always easy!) so that I know that I can go away with total confidence that he is being so well looked after. Thank you both so much. (Alfie is fully recovered and full of life again!)

Little Alfie (six month old Whippet) showed signs of being unwell on day 2 of his visit. A quick visit to the Vet sorted the problem and he was soon his lively self again.
