I've had dogs in my family most of my life. After our GSD died, we couldn't bear to go through the emotions again but I knew one day I would have a dog in my family again. That day came when my daughter with born, because she was so good we thought it would be a perfect time to get our dog. Del our gorgeous GSD arrived and mayhem started! After professionally training him he has become a wonderful, loving dog.
I have learned a lot on dog behaviour, development and training from our professional trainer. I hope to carry out courses to increase my knowledge.
There have been times where we have had to leave Del with a dog sitter i.e. holidays, big family events, date night! etc. I visited various kennels and could not ever bring myself to leave Del at kennels but at the same time it was difficult to find dog sitters close to where we live and those are two of the reasons why I have become a dog sitter.
I love having dogs around me, around the house and taking them for long walks. I live on a private road and we don't bump into any dogs apart from our neighbour's two friendly border collies. We have a water bank further down our road where Del loves swimming, everyday!! We sometimes go for walks in Hinchingbrooke Country Park to socialise with other dogs and of course the daily dip in the lake!
Please contact me if you have any questions. I would like to meet your furry dog before accepting a booking where possible.
