About leanne

Animals, and particularly dogs are my passion. I would have a huge rescue home for dogs if I could. The happiness in mine, and other peoples dogs is what I pride myself in. The dogs I board have two one hour walks a day, and this can be altered if needed. I have two beautiful Labrador Retrievers who are 2 and 3. The dogs have the free run of the house. Many dogs I board sleep on my bed (guilty) however I understand that this is not everyones rules and I will ensure that I abide by those rules when boarding your dog. I am at home 24/7, so there is no need to worry that your dog will be left on his/her own. I allocate one hour play time 2 hours after meals in addition to two hour walks. However this will be amended according to the age and health of the dog. I have received excellent feedback from my clients (and doggies) and can provide a reference if you would like. Please get in touch if you would like my services, as I would be very happy to look after your dog for you, and make them as comfortable and at home as I possibly can. Thank you. Leanne.

So happy to find someone who loves and cares for dogs. Brodie was very happy with Leanne. I also loved my picture text to let me know that he is fine. I will definitely leave Brodie again.

Archie was very happy in the care of Leanne and her adorable dogs. It is obvious Leanne is a dog-lover and makes sure they are well looked after. She welcomed him immediately. I couldn't have been more pleased with the arrangement. During my conversation with Leanne on my return, Archie cuddled up to her showing his trust and saying he'd had a great time. I will definitely be leaving Archie with her again.

Things did not go to plan Two hours after dropping Hudson off we got a call asking us to arrange alternative care for him as Leanne was not coping with him. I should say that Hudson is deaf so therefore it takes a lot of understanding to know the sign language that is used for commands. We did however spend time on a visit and left Video tutorials of the hand signs needed. It was disappointing that we had to find alternative care but Leanne did help with this by dropping Hudson off. A disappointing experience but it should be understood that Hudson has been totally deaf from birth.

Hudson was not sent home due to his deafness. He was sent home due to his uncontrollable mounting and barking at other dogs that were here who found this distressing. I sent Hudson home as Hudson would not respond to his collar whilst mounting the dogs. It was a shame to send him back but this was purely to protect him and keep my other dogs from feeling distressed. A dog that is not responding to me after several commands needs to be sent home. It is my full responsibility to look after dogs in my care and they should not feel uncomfortable or threatened whilst they are staying with me.
