About Andy

We would be more than happy to host your dog whilst you are away on summer holiday, off for a long weekend break, having day out, or maybe having to work long and inconvenient hours.

•Your pet will have a holiday of their own

•No kennel cages, just lots of family fun

•You can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is in good hands

Spring is coming... honestly.... and we will soon be walking the dogs through fresh green grass and the greenery of the first Bluebells. Shorter day length mean longer lunch time walks and spring rain means a rub down with the towel when we get home.

We can accommodate active dogs who like long walks or maybe you have a quieter dog who is less active but likes lots of attention. We will also happily host your puppy from 16 weeks of age. Your dog will sleep in the house and will be welcome to sit in with the family during the day.

We have a large house set in mature woodland which is an excellent situation for dogs. We've had dogs here at our house for nearly 30 years. When requested we foster dogs for national and local charities whilst they are awaiting permanent homes and when we are not doing this we host dogs (and cats) whilst there owners are on holiday. Of course your dog must be fully vaccinated before we can host and following the recent change in the law all dogs must now be chipped.

We do except bookings at short notice but earlier you book the more likely we are to be able to host your dog.

A portion of hosting income goes to help a national animal support charity.

Bez, our French bulldog has been spending his days with Andy since he was a puppy. Andy is a fantastic host with perfect facilities for dog sitting and an ideal location for woodland walks. Bez loves going to Andys to see both him and his wife and also the other dogs they host. It's been fantastic for socialising bez in his early months. He enjoys it so much that he often doesn't want to leave to come home! Thank you Andy for all your help with Bez.

Bez is a bundle of fun who just wants to be everybodies friend. He always wants to join in and play with all the other dogs and it's wonderfull to see him arriving in the morning ready to be part of the pack.

My two dogs Quincy & Luna had a fantastic time staying with Andy. It was their first stay with him and he immediately put them and me at ease. They have perfect doggy facilities and woodland walkies straight from their front door - Andy even took Quincy on a Park Run and sent me daily photos and updates which was much appreciated. I can tell they had a lovely time, were well looked after and treated as part of the family. Thanks Andy!

Quincy is a gentle giant and Luna is a little dog who just wants to bounce and have fun. What a great pair. They are welcome back anytime.

Maisie really enjoy's her days with Andy . She's quite an anxious dog so we were a bit worried about leaving her with someone new but she seems to have settled in really well 😊

Maisie enjoyed spending time sitting outside the back door on a nice peaceful sunny afternoon. She is welcome to come back for another visit anytime.
