My husband and I feel so lucky to have our precious 2 year old lurcher named Milo. We adopted him in May 2015 and he has bought us both such joy since we have had him. I have been boarding dogs since February 2016 with Dog Buddy and my own business Byers Doggy Care Ltd. I am fully licenced and have insurance through Dog Buddy when booking through them as well as my own Insurance for Byers Doggy Care Ltd. I just love looking after dogs and it's now what I do full time with such pleasure. When the dogs are with me they are like family and you will have the comfort knowing they will have love, cuddles, tickle tummy, ear massages and the holiday of a lifetime!
Milo is a rescue dog from Battersea Dogs Home with unknown history. He loves playing chase and is a real joy to watch running so fast! He is very friendly with people, children and dogs he knows, however, he can be nervous of groups of dogs. The meeting sessions are very helpful to help introduce the dogs on neutral ground before bringing the dogs back to the house. His breed of a lurcher means he has quite a chase drive at present for game (which he may have been trained to do previously) which is why we muzzle him. Milo has not been able to cope well with puppies or very bouncy small breed dogs so I suggest dogs over the age of 12 months that are up for a game of chase or older relaxed dogs are better suited to him.
About the House
My husband and I live in a semi-detached house right next to Farnham Park. It's a cosy quiet environment as we have no children. Our garden is secure with high fencing and has enough space for the dogs to run around and play. Even though Farnham Park is a few meters from the house I love taking the dogs to other places like the woodlands for really fun adventures.
