About Melanie

My family in the United States has three amazing dogs, Rascal, Maisy and Oscar and one fierce feline, Chestnut. I taught all three dogs tricks from sit and lay down to roll over, play dead and beg. Now I love walking dogs for a living, taking them to Alexandra Parade Park and greeting all the dogs in our area. I love all dogs, small and large. My house is easily the dog friendliest home in Glasgow and I will take excellent care of your pet while you're away.

Need someone to wash and groom your dog? I do that too. (Aside from the trimming and the clipping, of course.) A clean dog is a happy dog. I began pet sitting over 10 years ago and found my heart has a lot of love to give many animals. I can play fetch with your dog for hours. As long as s/he wants to play, I'm theirs.

I am a playwright which means that I am home most days on my own and that can get pretty lonely. Dog walking and sitting has been an excellent way for me to get out of the house and go for those long afternoon walks.

This was the first time I have used Dog Buddy and I'll certainly use it again. I would definitely recommend Melanie. Mack enjoyed his stay and I would have no hesitation booking him back in for further stays.

Melanie was very good this time too. Keller was so happy to see her again when we dropped him at her place, which is very reassuring, and he came home happy as well!
