About Stuart

I have owned dogs for most of my life and I am passionate about dogs and providing exercise for them (and myself!) on the magnificent Gwynedd coast. My home is near Harlech and I provide dog walking and sitting services for owners from Barmouth to Porthmadog. If you need professional care for your dog whilst you are at work, holiday or just too busy or frail, look no further.
I have two dogs of my own - Max (a cocker spaniel) and Buster (a collie-cross) - and they love to meet other dogs. I offer solo walks for dogs that do not socialize well, and group walks for compatible dogs that love to have fun with others. I also offer dog boarding in my own home, which is in Llanfair, near Harlech and dates from about 1800. It is detached with a garden and overlooks the sea at Llandanwg. As well as being very comfortable, it is only a few minutes walk from Harlech beach which allows a huge space for dogs to run and play, returning home tired and content. We also have several other local walks, including one across the fields to Llandanwg beach and then around Pensarn Harbour and home over the hills. However we also travel to lots of other local beach and hill locations such as the dunes at Morfa Dyffryn, the hills aboive Barmouth, and Morfa Bychan beach near Porthmadog. With your permission and once safe (such as on the beach) dogs can be let off the lead once I am confident they will return to my call.

  • Louise, dog sitter in Wimborne

We went to Wales for a holiday and booked Lexi in for two days so we could do activities that had a no dogs policy. Lexi was well looked after and tired by the end of the day from playing with other dogs. On drop off the next day Lexi didn't give us a second look to say goodbye. She was more than happy to be there. Beautiful place and beach location.

We would definitely recommend Stuart without a doubt. He was professional, friendly , attentive and most important, clearly passionate about dogs. He also kept us updated about our dog since it was first time we left her with a dog sitter.
