About Tracie

My name is Tracie, I am 51 years young and I share my home with my eldest son who is 22 and my 8 year old Golden Lab, Charlie.  Having recently moved to a house with a garden after living for 6 years in a flat, Charlie and I have decided to take up dog care once again.  I work from home as a part-time Proofreader which gives me the flexibility to take on dog care in my home.  We live a few feet away from miles and miles of heathland where the dogs can run around to their heart's delight!  If they like to swim, then a 10 minute car ride takes them to a beautiful river where there is plenty for them to explore.  For older, less agile dogs, we have a large back garden which is completely enclosed by a 6 foot fence if they simply want to snooze outside on the grass.

I have lived with and owned dogs all my life and could not imagine life without one.  I often take care of my friends' and family dogs if they are going abroad on holiday or are away working for a few days, and don't want to put them in kennels.  Charlie is very tolerant of other dogs in his home, but he does prefer the company of older, calmer dogs.  All dogs are cared for as if they were my own and they have three walks across the fields every day come rain or shine.
