About Polly

CURRENTLY ON EXCHANGE STUDYING IN AUSTRALIA SO UNFORTUNATELY UNAVAILABLE FOR NOW.

Hello, my name is Polly, I'm 21 and I am studying Events Management at Leeds Beckett University.

I have had dogs in my family all my life and am currently really missing my little cocker spaniel, Lily, so would really like some canine company back in my life! I love taking Lily out for walks to new places, going on adventures (and obviously having cuddles after). As she can be quite antisocial with other dogs, I have experience dealing with behavioural challenges, including techniques and games to distract them, and it doesn't worry or bother me. However, I judge it case by case and would always let you know if I did not feel comfortable looking after your dog. I prefer to build and maintain a relationship with clients, in order to make it easier for the dogs in my care, by gaining their trust.

As a student, I have quite a bit of free time and so am able to be flexible with hours, in the week and on the weekends. During the week I am mainly free in the afternoon/evening but my schedule varies so please get in touch and I will see what I can do! I live near Beckett Park, where I have taken my friend's dog Max for walks, which is the perfect doggy playground.

Polly was great - really helpful standing in at 24hrs notice and taking Stanley after our regular dog-sitter wasn't available. We were up from Essex attending a day event in Leeds and a happy Stan, with a bag full of toys, towels and treats, was left tail wagging with Polly and ready to play ball together. 6hrs later we returned and Stan had his usual 'bouncy' welcome for us. He'd been well exercised during a nice walk, and been fed & watered & rested (Stan does like a snooze). Thank you Polly, your time and attention to Stanley were very much appreciated by us all
