About Emma

I live at a really great location on a farm in the heart of the Harewwood countryside. Resident labrador for company as well as two doting humans to ensure your dog gets plenty attention and cuddles. I have had dogs all my life and wouldn't know what to do without one. I have tonnes of energy and enjoy getting out and about, so your dog will be well loved and taken for three good walks per day. I have experience of administering both oral medication and shots, my close friend Ann is a qualified animal nurse, should i need any additional assistance. You can go on your holiday with a clear conscience when you leave your dog with me, safe in the knowledge that your dog is safe, secure and having a wonderful time. All dogs welcome large or small I have no preference., love em all! The garden is big and completely secure, meaning your pooch can have a right good run about, playing and chasing tennis balls. The kitchen has an aga which provides warmth throughout the house and seems to be a big favourite with visiting pooches. There are also log fires in both downstairs rooms which provide added attractions for the comfort seekers amongst our canine friends, who love nothing better than settling in for a group cuddle, rest assured your pooch will not be left un-accompanied whilst the fire is lit. The house is quite large so there is plenty of room to roam around, dogs welcome in all rooms. Whilst you are away I can arrange for grooming and clipping at competitive prices should you wish, as another close friend is a qualified groomer. Harewood offers a variety of great walks as you will see from the photos the scenery is spectacular. There are also a number of great parks to visit in the Leeds area which are only 10 minutes away by car. I drive and have my own 4x4 so, should the need arise. though hopefully not, I can always get to the vet whatever the weather.

Fabulous experience all the way. Emma reassured us completely and gave us a detailed itinerary for what Monty would be up to after we left. A tour of the farmhouse, and an introduction to Emma's chocolate labrador Max, who Monty instantly took too, enabled us to leave very happy indeed. Emma updated us via text to let us know Monty was settled in and enjoying his break. We would thoroughly recommend Emma to everyone who wants the reassurance that their dogs are being totally cared for. Emma is a true dog lover and your dog will meet other dogs on their walks for that full social experience. If you are travelling to York or Leeds or even the dales, Emma is perfectly situated for you to drop off your dog en route. We chose Emma because of her surroundings, sprawling countryside, very big enclosed garden, and big dog friendly house. We definitely made the right choice. You don't have to drop your dog off locally, take them with you and drop them off close to where you are going. It was a 75 mile trip for us, but Monty was only 19 miles from us. We will definitely be using Emma again, we are considering flying from Leeds/Bradford for future abroad holidays, because we know Monty will be in safe, caring hands. Btw, Monty slept so soundly when he came back, he was exhausted from all the fun. Thank you xx

Emma was fab. She obviously loves dogs and her place is lovely and relaxed and dog friendly. I totally relaxed knowing she was looking after my two.
