I am 20 year old, female, currently training to be an Adult Nurse at Kings College London; I have worked with dogs in a kennel for 2 years and been around dogs since a child as my grandmother was a breeder of Dobermans. I have recently moved to London from Surrey and I am missing K9 companionship. I am bubbly and full of life, especially in the company of animals. I am very confident around all breeds and have worked with more challenging animals who are food proud, kennel proud or just nervous.I am able to administer diabetic injections to both dogs and cats along with all oral and cream medications. I have been in charge of all medication and feeds of 60+ dogs in the kennel where I used to work. Here I also took dogs for walks and 'playtimes'. I am also very proud to say that I have worked with stray dogs and helped in their recovery from very shy or aggressive ill health animals to playfully full of life dogs as they should be. Most importantly I understand that pets are like another family member and they deserve the best care and the most enjoyable life they can live.
I am very excited to create a relationship with you and your furry friend, I look forward to meeting you both. :~)
As a part of my Nursing Degree I spend 50% of the year working in hospitals; please bare with me during these periods as i cannot choose my rota. This may mean that I will be less available than usual. Just ask me and i will give you all of the details.
