I am 19 year old, female, currently training to be an Adult Nurse at Kings College London; I have worked with dogs in a kennel for 2 years and been around dogs since a child as my grandmother was a breeder of Dobermans. I have recently moved to London from Surrey and I am missing K9 companionship. I am able to administer diabetic injections to both dogs and cats along with all oral and cream medications. I have been in charge of all medication and feeds of 60+ dogs in the kennel where I used to work. Here I also took dogs for walks and 'playtimes'. I am bubbly and full of life, especially in the company of animals. I am very confident around all breeds and have worked with more challenging animals who are food proud, kennel proud or just nervous. I am also very proud to say that I have worked with stray dogs and helped in their recovery from very shy or aggressive ill health animals to playfully full of life dogs as they should be. Most importantly I understand that pets are like another family member and they deserve the best care and the most enjoyable life they can live.
I am very excited to create a relationship with you and your furry friend, I look forward to meeting you both. :~)
As a part of my Nursing Degree I spend 50% of the year working in hospitals; please bare with me during these periods as i cannot choose my rota. This may mean that I will be less available than usual. Just ask me and i will give you all of the details.
