Honestly, this is the perfect excuse to almost owning a dog myself. I am in love with dogs. Their loving and giving nature is the best gift to their human companions.
Although I have never had dogs of my own, my experience comes from taking my colleague's dog out every lunch break, Mon-Fridays in the whole of last year!
The black and white cockapoo in the photo has grown very close to me and we almost never part when we are in the office. He sits on my desk and when it's lunch time, he picks up his tennis ball and lets me know it's time to go for a walk. If I am too busy or a little behind on our schedule , he waits for me with two big brown puppy eyes which i can't help resist but abandon my work and take him out to make him happy! We play up to an hour in our local park, and he finds himself very thirsty when we 're back in the office.
The other dog in the photo is my friend's who I occasionally look after when she needs someone to look after him whilst she is away on holidays. He has a humorous personality, where if you've upset him he won't give you kisses and I am someone who will beg for affection from dogs, especially those who play hard to get.
