Since a very young age I've had dogs in my family and I believe they are an extremely important part of our lives and can make it better in every way! I've always had different breeds and since moving to London, Dog Buddy has allowed me to continue doing something I love as well as using my skills and experience to provide an excellent one to one service to like minded dog lovers.
I've been volunteering at Battersea Dog & Cat Home as a Kennel Support Worker for over a year. This has enhanced my knowledge of many different breeds and has given me good experience of a wide range of behaviours. As well as this I've previously worked in dog boarding kennels.
I have a friendly and outgoing personality with calm and assertive energy. I enjoy physical exercise and especially like walking (in all weathers)! Just like us, dogs have different needs and personalities. I am happy to adapt, depending on their needs whilst in my care.
Living in a spacious flat, there is plenty of room for your dog to play or rest in. The entry system is secure and the surrounding area is fenced in, providing a safe environment.
Working part-time means the more notice I have the better but sometimes I can do last minute bookings. If you have a late boarding request, I may be able to do this, but only on the condition that I have availability and that your dog and I have met beforehand. This way everyone is more comfortable about a stay over. If you have two dogs I'm happy to accommodate, but I don't take on a number of different dogs for my day care or boarding. Dog day care is charged for an 9 hour day. Anything over this will be an additional £6 per hour.
There is no need to bring anything with your dog as I provide, bowls, blankets, toys, poop bags and treats ( if allowed). Of course if you would like to bring anything with them then do.
Please get in touch if I sound like your right match! I can guarantee a happy pet in my home.
