I have been using dogbuddy for a year now and have met so many great dogs and people. Before using dogbuddy I had looked after neighbours and friends dogs since I was young, I always loved dogs but have never been able to have my own, so found ways to be constantly surrounded by dogs as well as other animals. I am animal mad and will treat your dog as my own pet, giving it the most loving and fun care.
I work at a design and marketing company in a small office with just two other colleagues, and am allowed to bring small dogs to work with me provided they are well behaved and trained. I do often dogsit for larger dogs, but what I find works is for me to stay at their own house and leave them during the day, though this does not work for everyone.
I have a wonderful boyfriend who works at a juice bar in whole foods and shares my love of animals, and he often looks after dogs with me as we live together, so it really is a home away from home for the dog. Cosy, loving, fun and understanding.
I live in a beautiful big Victorian house in Battersea with a pretty garden, and am also a seconds walk from Battersea park. I have two cats who are confined to the kitchen and are not nervous or scared around dogs, they just do not want to be chased so if your dog is cat mad it may be best to avoid my place!
I usually allow the dog sleep in my bed with me, or in its own bed on my bedroom floor. I love to chill out with a dog on the sofa as well as go crazy with toys and balls in the park or just run around with them and let them have the best fun on their walks.
Basically I love dogs and there would be nothing better for me than being surrounded by them! I am confident administering medicine, I have had work experience in two vet practices, and am used to handling my own cats and administering medicine to dogs I have looked after. I am strong and fully confident with all dog breeds. (I used to be a gymnast so very strong)
