About Yen Jeong

Hi! I am Yen Jeong from Singapore and I am currently doing my Masters in Computer Science in Imperial College London. While London has been a gorgeous place with wonderful people and exciting friends, I often found myself missing my two dogs back home. One is a fluffy Pomeranian who seems to think she is a great dane, while the other is a large chow chow and spitz mix who is a little too timid for her size. Walking down the streets in London has been difficult for me because I find myself ogling at all the beautiful dogs that people are walking all the time, wishing that I can get to play with them too. When I finally stumbled onto the possibility of taking on a dog walking profession while randomly watching dog videos on Youtube, I knew that I have to take immediate action to become one (maybe i should just give up my masters). And thus, here I am, registering to become a dog walker!

While I have never done this professionally before, I have been in the company of many dogs and walking them have always been one of my favourite activities. I am perhaps the only person who will volunteer to take my friends' dogs out for walks regularly.

As I am writing my thesis now, I have very flexible hours and will be able to work at most hours of the day. I love both big and small dogs, and can cater to both group and solo walks. I will prefer to work only in the area around Earl's court, as that is my place of residence. Hyde park is definitely a place that I can visit together with your dog.

I believe that positive reinforcement combined with consistency is the best way to train and make happy dogs. If you choose to hire me as your dog walker, I promise to be responsible, on time, kind and generous to your dog.
