About Sue

Our love of dogs started over 35 years ago when we had our first Rescue dog, and after that came our passion & love of Dalmatians & Chinese Crested Hairless dogs.

Dogs have always been part of our family, and your dog(s) will be treated the same, with lots of love and attention, and home comforts too. We have lovely walks nearby - very dog friendly, with lots of places to explore. Our home is dog friendly, with a secure walled garden - sadly we have lost all of our own dogs now to old age.

For a few years, I volunteered with Dalmatian Rescue, vetting homes, and fostering Dalmatians (to assess them before they went to their new homes).

Most of our dogs have been from Rescue Organizations, and over the past 35 years, we have fostered (temporarily & permanently) many dogs (including Crossbreeds, Belgian Shepherd, Spaniel, Chinese Crested & Dalmatians - one of whom was blind from birth), lots of whom went on to permanent loving homes.

I have been a trainer at several Dog Obedience Training Clubs in past years, and competed with my dogs Sam & Cid, in Obedience Competitions. I have also shown Cid, one of our Dalmatians, and Lennie, our Chinese Crested, at Breed Shows (including Crufts) in the 1990's.

Prices at Bank Holidays cost a little more than normal, so please use the message button to send your Dates and also Drop-Off/Pick Up times, to obtain a Custom Quote.

We don't have set opening times, and we try to be as flexible as possible, to accommodate your needs - just ask when sending through an Enquiry, or a Booking.

We have a maximum of 4 dogs on any day/night, depending on the size of the dog, so as dates fill up very quickly, we advise early booking.

We will need to see a current vaccination certificate for all dogs, and first vaccinations should be completed at least 4 weeks before your dogs holiday with us - this does not apply to boosters.

All dogs must attend a Meet & Greet, prior to starting their first holiday with us.

It was Wolfgang’s first visit with Sue and I was unsure of how he would react with all the other dogs but it was the best place we have put him. Daily pictures showed he was clearly comfortable and having a great time. I will definitely use Sue again and recommend Sue to others.

Thank you Judi - Bonnie & Pergy are lovely dogs, and we enjoyed having them to stay. We are pleased to have been able to help out in a small way to making Kirsten's big day a little less stressful knowing that the dogs were safe and happy with us :-)
