About Katie

I am a life-long animal addict. I grew up surrounded by a variety of animals, and have experience working with animals in a variety of settings including shelters and kennels.
I have an undergraduate degree in animal science and a masters degree in animal welfare and behaviour. This gives me an in depth knowledge of animals and their needs.
I currently offer dog walking, boarding, day care and training.
I live within walking distance of the coast as well as local parks and other great dog walking destinations. As a trainer, I aim to exercise dogs mentally as well as physically and always involve lots of play and brain games. I use only positive, reward based training so you can be sure your dog is having fun whilst they learn!
I only board one dog at a time, or two from the same family, to be sure I can provide them with lots of time and attention. Your dog will be treated as though they were my own, with only love and respect.
I have worked with dogs of a variety of ages, breeds and backgrounds and I believe in a flexible, individual approach to care to be sure that you and your dog receive the personalised experience that you deserve.

Ruud loved his stay with Katie. She was very flexible as we had a few problems with our pick up time. Her home was warm and cozy and Ruud relaxed with her straight away. I would definitely recommend Katie.
