David, dog sitter in Ottery St Mary, Devon
About David

I have never owned a dog myself, but I am used to being around dogs. I have helped out at the local Animal Rescue Centre as a volunteer and also do voluntary work for The Cinnamon Trust. Dogs seem to like me and to date I have come across four stray dogs and have been able to track down their owners.
Having lived for the last 60 odd years in the town of Ottery St Mary, I have good knowledge of all the parks, fields and paths that are suitable for dog walking, and which ones are still OK to use during wet weather.

Our dogs stayed with Dave for the day and loved their stay, we dropped them off with wagging tails and picked them up with wagging tails. It was their second stay with Dave and both times we have felt worry free and trust Dave to care for them. Thanks again Dave 😊

Tilly was well looked after by David and very happy to stay with him a second time. We hadn't had the opportunity to meet before leaving Tilly with him but all worked out well.

David met the dogs before we left them and when dropping them off which was only their second visit to his house they ran straight in with waggy tails. David was very accommodating and helpful with drop off and collection to fit in with our plans and when our plane broke down he able to have them for another night. The dogs were happy to see us when we picked them up but would've of been happy to stay with David too. This was the first time we used David to care for the dogs and we will be using him in the future. Thanks very much Dave 😊
