I have been fortunate to share my home with three adorable dogs: Rosie (a lurcher), Daisy (a Labrador cross) and now Poppy (Labrador).
I have over twenty years experience of living with dogs, two from when they were a puppy. I trained Daisy and Poppy to walk on the lead, walk to heel, house trained and so on. I have also looked after a dog with a medical condition. Rosie was diabetic and I administered her insulin twice a day for three years. I also cared for Daisy as she got older.
Dogs have played a huge part in our family life. There is nothing like coming home to a waggy tail and a dog that is so very pleased to see you. It is one of life's great pleasures. The first thing we do is grab the lead and pooh bags (and treats) and head out. When she is at home Poppy can play in a large walled garden, teasing the seagulls and crows where she is safe and sound.
Poppy and I love our walks along the coastal path and down to the beach and we would be very happy to have your dog join us.
