About Ellen

I am a lifelong dog lover. Since losing my 15 year old chocolate labrador in 2014 I have missed having a dog in my life. It's not feasible for us to have another dog of our own at the moment, so I'm looking to help out other dog owners who want to ensure that their dogs are well cared for. As a qualified nurse, I'm comfortable dealing with animal medications too. We have our own garden and live opposite Central Park, so plenty of space for walking and socialising for dogs. Whilst we don't have children, we do have relatives children who visit - they are very used to being around dogs and are very respectful of them.

Oscar our 3 year old Lhasa apso went for his holidays to Ellen & Nigel. On this occasion his little accomplice charlotte was in season so she went else where. Oscar settled very well and I think he would have liked to stay! Ellen and Nigel looked after him very well. I am sure Oscar will go back in a flash. Thank you Ellen & Nigel..

My 5 month old pup Teddy stayed with Ellen and Nigel for the weekend, it was the first time he had slept away from home. He suffers from food allergies and acid reflux so follows a strict food regime, he was also on medication at the time. When I brought Teddy home there was no sickness or diarrhoea which there would of been if Ellen had not followed his dietary needs. She gave him his medication with no problems and he seemed very settled and happy when I went to pick him up. I am very pleased and felt that Teddy was in very safe hands.
