I have owned my own dogs for 35 years. My last dog Holly was with me for 19 years, since then I have taken in friends dogs' when they go on holiday. My last house guest was a Patterdale Terrier for 10 days. My home is open house to your pet, s/he has the run of the 3 storey house. I understand nutritional values of food that your pet may require and happy to accomodate the owner's needs. I understand the different nature of breeds and have experience of administering medication if needed. My local vet is only 5 minutes away on Ecclesall Road. I am happy to walk your pet once or twice a day. I believe play time is also important. I am at home during the day and evenings so your pet will have the attention they require. My husband is also on hand in the evenings and weekends. We decided to set up Endcliffe Vale Boarding as we know many people who are not happy to put their beloved pets in kennels. You will find a personal touch with us; always mindful of you the owner and your needs as well as your pet.
My home is a 3 storey town house, very close to the Botanical Gardens and 5 min walk to Endcliffe Park. There is an open front garden and small completely closed area to the back of the house. I board pets in the downstairs living area with access to the enclosed back area. Pets have access to the whole house when I am with them. Night sleep would be spent in the downstairs living room, unless a dog has a particular need. I would be happy to arrange with the owner that e.g. a puppy or nervous/ill dog would have access to my living area throughout the night. I treat each dog as an individual as I would a human.
Day and overnight boarding. Walking, medication. grooming/washing.
