I offer a professional service tailored to suit your needs, offering individual dog boarding, cat visiting & house sitting. For the safety and comfort of your pet I only board one dog at a time unless they come from the same family/home. I am licensed and approved by the council, I have a DBS certificate & excellent references. I specialise in smaller breeds of dogs.
Cat visiting service in the Saltaire/Shipley area only. I also provide a house sitting service where I will look after your pet(s) in your home.
I am currently pet free, which allows me to offer an exclusive service, though I have previously owned & lived with both dogs & cats.
I am very reliable & responsible, I know how important it is for you to be confident that your pet is receiving caring attention. I will meet with you and make a detailed plan to ensure your pet’s routines remain as close to the care they receive from you as possible, taking particular note of feeding, exercise, medication, companionship & grooming. I am happy to discuss any special requirements if your pet is elderly.
I worked as a volunteer for a national animal charity for 22 months, providing help to elderly people who are struggling to manage to walk their much loved pets. This is a wonderful and rewarding way to engage with both owners & their dogs.
I have a lovely park & open countryside on my doorstep. I recently qualified as a relaxation tutor; being calm & centred is a good quality to have with animals.
All dogs must be vaccinated, house trained, not destructive in the home and able to sleep downstairs. I do not board dogs under 1 years of age. Please note I charge a premium for Christmas & New Year.
"We would highly recommend Helen to provide top quality individualised care tailored around the needs of both pets and their owners. Helen has provided excellent care for our Jack Russell terrier. We are able to leave him with confidence and peace of mind." Dr. N. Gerodetti & Ms. S Mills
