I have been fortunate and lucky enough to have had a dog by my side pretty much since my childhood days, well that is up until the past couple of years when my life took a unexpected change. I found myself widowed and also without a trusty doggy friend by my side. My old dog preceeded my husband by just a couple of months, both events rocked my world.
So, here I am, in a new town, where I have now decided I would like to become a dog sitter or dog walker for others who cannot always make the time required in their busy lives.
I am healthy and fit, I love walking and exercising. What better way than with a dog by my side.
I am comfortable with all types of dogs, of all shapes and size.
I am experienced with different types of dogs: healthy ones, boisterous ones; naughty ones; playful ones and old and frail dogs. I adore them all.
I am a good listener and will adhere to any rules, regulations and routines the dog owners may require of me.
I can administer injections as I had a diabetic dog for over 8 years.
I soon get to know their character traits and usually find that I can bond with them very quickly.
For the past 2 Christmas's I have spent a month looking after an aged Labrador and
Sprightly Labradoodle in their own home in Spain.
I moved to my new town 6 months ago and there are some lovely walks around here in woodlands, by canals and through parks.
I would relish the chance to start spending some quality time looking after dogs for their owners whilst away or at work.
I am a driver and willing to transport dogs to and from owners home.
