I've grown up with dogs from Old English sheep dogs, Poodles, Yorkshire terriers, Rough Collies and more. I now have a nutty English Springer Spaniel who never stops.
I will ensure your dog is well cared for and feels safe and secure in our home. We have spacious rooms and a nice size garden to run around in. There are lots of places nearby for lovely walks.
I am happy to look after any breed of dog.
A typical day for us would be up at around 7am for breakfast, I usually give them a little while to let their food go down and then off out on our first walk of the day!
I like to find out what types of walks, your dogs prefer, on a long lead in a field, a lovely walk along the river or the woods or the park? we have everything on our doorstep! If your dog is happy in the car I may go a little further to add a bit of variety.
Back home the toys are scattered all over the house and its playtime! some dogs may need a bit of a nap especially if they are a little older but for those who want to play, we have lots to choose from! some owners often bring their dogs favourite toys with them!
Lunchtime or early afternoon and we off on another walk/sniff fest or exploration! If like mine your dog is a 'big sniffer' I like to give them time to really explore their surroundings with them leading me where they want to go - quite often they'll pick up a very long scent trail and its such good fun watching them find and follow it! Others just want to go go go !
Whatever type of walk they like I make sure they do what they want to do.
Dinner time - when I feed the dogs I ensure they eat their own food and no one else ! Some dogs like to take their time so I make sure no one else steals their food!
The last walk of the day, in the evening and then back home for cuddles and tummy rubs and time to chill before we say night night
Our dogs usually sleep in the kitchen where there is underfloor heating in the winter !
