I have always been passionate about animals. From my early occupational dreams of becoming a pet shop lady (I was only 5 and didn't know better) to my more recent dream, which I have been lucky enough to put into action... I recently decided to pack in my job in the city in order to set up my own business looking after dogs.
When I look after dogs, I strive to keep my guests happy from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave. I love taking dogs on long walks in the countryside, something we are not short of in Hertfordshire. However, I know that all dogs are different, so if you have any preferences on the places we go or the length of walks, please do let me know and I will be more than happy to accommodate your requirements. My home is very comfy and provides the perfect place for your dog to snuggle up after our walks.
I have a lovely garden with secure fencing that backs onto fields and woodland stretching beyond the neighbouring village. I do not live on a main road, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so we rarely have people passing by. It really is animal paradise.
One thing to note is that because I love all animals I do have two cats, Doris and Florence, who are both under 3. They have grown up around dogs too, so they won't be too bothered by any guests staying as long as they are not chased. If your pooch isn't fond of their feline cousins, we might not be the home for you.
Please do contact me if you would like overnight boarding (limited to two dogs at a time) or a walker. My daytime availability is currently Friday-Sunday, but this will change to every day starting on the 25th July. I will be opening a daycare centre in the next couple of months if your dog is one of many that requires a little bit extra TLC and attention during the day.
I am currently undertaking qualifications in dog handling and behaviour which will enable me to confidently handle multiple dogs.
I look forward to hearing from you!
