I have been passionate about working with animals from an early age and after adopting our three year old Labrador Buddy it reignited the spark to go for it full time. I have volunteered in the past (over a year experience) for the Guide Dogs Charity as a boarder for their advanced trained dogs and loved every minute of it. Getting to care and look after a furry friend as if they were my own is very rewarding and I am happiest when out and about walking and exploring with them.
We are a family of four including myself, husband, Buddy and Rolo our pet rabbit. My husband shares my love of furry friends and will often join me on walks to Haigh Hall, along the local canal and beaches to name a few!
After using home boarders myself for Buddy I have seen first hand what a difference the level of care, love and attention makes to your pets and firmly believe that boarders are a much better environment than kennels.
While your dog is in my care you will receive regular updates and photographs to give you peace of mind that they are settled and being well looked after.
We encourage our guests to bring their own bed, bowls and a familiar toy with them as this helps as a comfort to your pets during the settling in process.
I offer a meet and greet at my home before the booking so that I can find out some more information about your dog, introduce them to our resident dog Buddy and it's a good chance for you to see where they will stay. I always like to make sure you are completely happy, so please feel free to ask me any questions or discuss any worries that you may have during this time.
