With apologies to those who may have noted that I have blanked out November and December on my listing ....... I have just had Polly mated and am crossing my fingers that she may be having pups! If this is the case, I would not be able to have visiting dogs staying over until the new year. If she has pups, it will be mid December,
I have always been a dog lover but since early retirement, I have gained an enormous amount of pleasure from having dogs as pets/companions. My two little girls are much loved and return the attention in a gentle way. They are 'pet passported' pooches with visits to Spain and France to discuss with new friends.
Walking, sniffing around the undergrowth and chasing squirrels are their hobbies but equally, they enjoy snuggling up on the sofa to watch a good TV drama in the evening. They like the company of other dogs and are keen to offer up our home for doggie visitors either daily, for walks or for longer stays. My girls are certainly NOT kennel dogs and I know they would be horrified and scared to be left in a kennel and we are hoping to meet owners of small furry friends who feel the same way.
My house is modern, detached and roomy. It includes a nice conservatory for relaxation and an enclosed garden for safety. The kitchen is spacious and hard floored and the living room is roomy and cosy.
The local walks include canalside views rambles and access to two small wooded areas with lots of doggie interest in the brook or foliage.
Doggie visitors would be assured of a safe and comfortable environment with all the attention that much loved pets may have come to expect.
My girls are looking forward to welcoming some new friends into their home.
