About Lynne

At our place, our dogs are an important part of our family. Just like they are for you, so we know how you feel about leaving them behind.

We don't often go away without them, but when we do we are able to leave them in the hands of trustworthy, genuine and caring people. That is why we know how critical it is for you to know who we are.

I am a photographer focusing on portrait and pet photography. In my past work life, I have worked with children and adults in an educational and community settings, owned a garden design business and have volunteered with multiple environmental and social work organisations. Currently, I devote most of my time towards home decoration, gardening and a passion project involving a fair bit of historical research, so I love the flexibility of staying home and being with my dogs.

Our canine sidekicks are amazing creatures, both Standard Poodles that are highly social and get along great with other dogs. They are used to long walks and lots of free play in our garden. They are very affectionate and a lot of fun. Ellie is a bit of a reserved girl when it comes to meeting new people, but she is relaxed and very easy going in her nature. Odin is a character, he loves everyone and every dog he meets.

For your dog(s), staying with us will be the next best thing to being at home with you. They will have the companionship of two adults and our two dogs. Their meal schedules can be maintained and we will do our best to create a similar routine to what they have at home.

We walk our dogs twice a day. A shorter 20 minute walk in the morning and then a longer one at the end of the day. That walk varies from 45 minutes to an hour. We can accommodate your dogs needs, whether they need less or more.

Our home is a quiet, tranquil location in the town of Wrexham. Our dogs and our canine guests have easy access to our fully fenced back garden. While outside, we are never far away; either outside with them or in the adjacent kitchen.

First time using Lynne and we were very impressed, our Labrador Meg had a great time, it helped that Lynne kept in touch whilst we were away and sent us some lovely pictures. It makes it so much easier when you can go away knowing your pet is being so well looked after - We hope to see you again soon Lynne and we know Meg will enjoy her stay again.

Oh my, what to say about Meg! We love her full body wags and sweet personality. We howled with laughter when she snuck into our bedroom at 5 am and tried to stuff her head under the pillow (she is bigger than she thinks she is!). She is such a loving girl, so happy and eternally optimistic. She is welcome back at our house anytime. Thanks for your lovely comments. They are very much appreciated.

Lynne is a terrific foster mum for loved and cherished pets. I felt reassured that my Poppy would be happy and well cared for... I was kept up to date with texts and was therefore able to enjoy my week-end away. I had been a little worried that Poppy could be a bit problematic as she has a few phobias, but I was reassured by the current texts that I received. Poppy enjoyed her stay and is looking forward to her next "holiday".

Thanks for your lovely words Jennie. To say that we are smitten with your Poppy is an understatement. She is such a sweet dog, with her "girl about town" Shnauzer strut and her loving gentle disposition she quickly won us over. We had a great time with Poppy and count her among our growing list of favourite pooches. Give her a snuggle for me.

Lynne was brilliant! Our dog Frank was welcomed into the home with open arms and even though he is only about 2inches tall and meeting larger dogs can be scary for him, he appeared to get on with Lynne's 2 super friendly poodles straight away. We were certain throughout that Frank was in safe hands and to top it off were provided with regular professional quality photos of the little fella having a great time! I think Frank would've happily stayed at Lynne's for much longer if he had he choice!

Thanks for your review Mark. Your wee friend is a delight to spend time with. While he may be about "two inches tall" he is mighty in spirit. I know he loves his red ball, but you should have seen him with a big football. It was a full contact sport! ;-) He really was a joy and we would have him back in a heartbeat. Cheers, Lynne
